Room
If you are looking for a shopping day, from Adonis we suggest to visit the main streets of the city and the four malls.

Calle del Castillo owes its name to the Castillo de San Cristobal, a fortress from 1575 at the beginning of the street. The walls are the only preservation from the castle, which nowadays can be visited in a subterranean gallery in the basements of Plaza de España. It was also known as Alfonso XIII Street, from 1906 to 1932. This street is the historical centre of Santa Cruz and groups the main commercial offer of the island: first fashion brands, handcraft shops, perfumeries and bazaars with the best prices on electronic, tobacco and liquors.

Avenida Tres de Mayo

This avenue is the centre of Santa Cruz de Tenerife. The name is because the city was founded on a three of May. It used to have three lanes for each way, but nowadays it has two and a pedestrian path between them. The avenue is located between the neighbourhoods of El Cabo y Los Llanos and has an important commercial area, making it a symbol of the city economic growth. After the Rambla de Santa Cruz, is the second main street of the Canary Islands.

Tres de Mayo shopping mall

This mall is located in the Avenida Tres de Mayo and was born as a big window display of shapes and colours, a perfect place for shopping and leisure, for meetings and fun mixing commercial activity, catering and cultural and playful activities in a unique and exclusive place.
This mall will offer activities to have a nicer shopping day: art exhibitions, child games, fashion shows and an intriguing gastronomic offer, combining quality, design, style and service.

Beaches
Room
Santa Cruz de Tenerife has great number of beaches where you can enjoy your unforgettable holidays.

Las Teresitas beach

This is the most well-known beach of the city, offering catering services and equipment. Located in the town of San Andrés, from the municipality of Santa Cruz de Tenerfie, this beach was artificially transformed during the 70’s on top of a previous black volcanic sand beach. The original, known as Tras la Arena or Las Teresas, was filled up with sand from the Sahara desert to make it bigger. It also has a breakwater to avoid the waves.

César Manrique Maritime Park

This park is a complex located on the southern coast of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, with unbeatable views to the auditorium, designed by Santiago Calatrava, the Palmetum botanic garden and the sea. The César Manrique Maritime Park opened its doors in 1995 making it a symbol of the capital and as part of the landscape of the city. In addition to the 3 saltwater pools, it has restaurants, shops, play centres, a gymnasium and hammocks and parasols rental service, making it a perfect place for touristic, familiar, leisure or rest activities.

The Parque García Sanabria is the historical park by excellence in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. It has many sculptures of great artistic value, some of them from the 1st International Exhibition of Street Sculptures, made by authors like Pablo Serrano and José Guinovart. The sculptures where busts from important people from the city. The park also has numerous tropical trees and plants. The Plaza de España of Santa Cruz de Tenerife is the biggest square of the city and from all the Canary Islands.
